Joan Rimmer, local historian and resident of Formby, will give a talk on the history of Formby's Old Lifeboat House and lead the subsequent discussion. Some members of the family who used to live in the property are also expected to take part in the event.
It will take place at the Duke Street Library on Tuesday, 10 July and starts at 2pm.
